Christopher Newport College Records
Series 1: Acc. 1984.069: This series contains Budgets, from 1963-1976, and capital outlay requests from 1966-1972, that were submitted to the Virginia State Legislature. They include appropriations requests and justifications.
Series 2: This series contains publications produced by Christopher Newport from 1959-1977. The inventory for this accession is available below in the finding aid/inventory section of this finding aid.
Christopher Wren Portrait
Photograph of a portrait of Christopher Wren, the original of which is located in All Souls College, Oxford. The label states the item was a gift to "William & Mary College" by C. Grant Robertson, Principal of the University of Birmingham, England as a "souvenir of his visit to the College" in December 1924.

Ann Louise Clarke Scrapbook
Scrapbook, 1930-1943, of Ann Louis Clarke of Richmond, Virginia. Clarke was a 1940 graduate of the College of William and Mary, and much of the scrapbook covers her time there. Includes programs from William & Mary events, cards, telegrams, Red Cross certificates, tickets to football games and plays, several notes on Phi Mu letterhead, a menu from the Red Circle Walnut Room, and dried flower corsages, among other items.
Department of Classical Studies Records
The collection includes subject files from 1963-1976 related to language placement, summer sessions, and a self-study of the Department of Classical Studies at the College of William and Mary. It also contains publications such as fliers and brochures from the Summer Institute in Latin and the Humanities. The collection also includes questions from William and Mary classes dated to 1840-1841. Most of the material was accessioned as Acc. 1998.045.

Color print sketch of the old Library building (now Tucker Hall). It measures approximately 15" x 11 1/2" and is in fair condition.

This collection includes programs, scripts, remarks, addresses, speeches, invitations, and other related material from commencement exercises at the College of William and Mary. Events and ceremonies related to graduation would also include the baccalaureate service and other events.

Harold R. Cunningham Papers
Letters, 1943-1946, of Harold R. Cunningham, a Navy chaplain from California. Includes letters written while at the Chaplain's School at the College of William & Mary and while on subsequent duty assignments in Wales, at the Sampson Naval Training Center in New York and aboard the USS Arkansas. Most of the letters are addressed to his mother in California. All others are addressed to his wife.

Papers, 1975-1985, of Richard J. Davis, mayor of Portsmouth, Virginia and lieutenant governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia. The papers pertain primarily to his administration as lieutenant governor and include correspondence with politicians and constituents, personal correspondence, campaign material, speeches, newspaper clippings, photographs and a videocassette of Davis and his family discussing his years as a student at William & Mary, and his career.

Also present in the collection is correspondence from the Dean, as well as subject files on degree requirements, the Sharpe Community Partnership Program, and other topics.
