This series contain the personal papers of the mayor of Los Angeles liaison to the gay community, Bill Carey. There are letters, memos, and notes from Bill Carey as well as other LA City officials. Included in this series are papers pertaining to the city of Los Angeles including materials about the police department and the gay community and Pride Week 1976. Materials concerning the LA gay community and LA  newspaper clippings are also part of this collection.
