The collection includes one leather-bound minute book that also contains the society's constitution and a list of members, 1838-1842. There are two pamphlets containing remarks read in honor of the anniversary of the granting of the Royal Charter to the College of William and Mary in 1840 and 1843.

This collection contains correspondence to and from Taylor, account books, financial statements, and deeds and other documents for the Dismal Swamp Company. Includes correspondence related to William & Mary. The collection also includes a land indenture between William and Mary Cunningham and Edmund Christian and the College of William and Mary regarding land in Hanover County.

This collection contains correspondence, fliers, a minute book, ledger, copies of the publications "The Shield" and "Epsilon Hokum," news clippings, artifacts, and a poem.

The collection consists of two items. The first is Daniel's thesis, written in 1831. The front page says "Eulogy on Washington, Intended & Ppresented as the Thesis of Tho. H. Daniel, when an applicant for graudation at Wm & Mary College in 1831." The other is an oration dlivered at the Prince George County Courthouse on July 4, 1834 on the 58th anniversary of American Independence.

The collection includes l letter written to T. Taylor, dated March 22, 1871 and written on William & Mary letterhead, an August 26, 1871 letter written to Archie Taylor thanking him for donating a volume to the library, his Oct. 1, 1871 letter of resignation as Chair of Latin and French due to health issues, and a printed announcement of the reopening of the College (October 1, 1871),.

Mathematics notebook, circa 1820-1822, of Thomas P. Watkins, a student at the College of William and Mary. Includes Watkins' notes on plane trigonometry, likely taught by Ferdinand Stewart Campbell. Includes theorems, proofs, and corollaries, as well as drawings which illustrate each of them.

Papers, 1840-1863, of Doctor George C. Tyler, Accomack County, Va. Includes two letters, 1860, from his cousin George] B. Fosque writing about student life at the College of William and Mary; and accounts, 1840-1863, of Doctor George C. Tyler.

Contains a typescript, including proofs of half-tone illustrations loosely inserted, for the book The Virginia Bishop by John Sumner Wood, Sr.  The book is a biography about John Johns, Fourth Bishop of Virginia and President of the College of William and Mary from 1849-1854.

Permission slip written by M. L. Warren, father of William & Mary student Thomas D. Warren, giving his permission for Thomas to board out of the College if he so desires and to make his own selection of classes.

The collection contains three certificates: a Certificate of Distinction at the College of William and Mary for Physics, July 4, 1891; a Certificate of Distinction at the College of William and Mary for Chemistry, July 4, 1891; and a certificate from the University of Virginia for intermediate examination in general chemistry for the session 1891-1892, June 29, 1892.

The Jan. 9, 1861 letter was written to his father, Henry. Wise mentions the organization of students into a military company under "Old Buck" (President Benjamin S. Ewell) and describes both the uniform and the arms. He also mentions that mail delivery service between Williamsburg and Norfolk has been changed.

His Aug. 26, 1880 letter is to the Board of Visitors, resigning his position as professor of chemistry.
