Scope and Contents

"Two-monthly Report" on W&M student, William Smith. The documented is pre-printed with the title as quoted above and "William & Mary College." There is also a pre-printed statement, explaining the purpose of the form is to keep parents and guardians notified of a student's progress. It is signed by William Barton Rogers and addressed to Michael F. Keyser of Baltimore, Maryland, likely Smith's guardian. Rogers includes a handwritten note dated May 11, 1832. He acknowledges receiving the $80 fee for Willima Smith's account and states that Smith's conduct continues to be exemplary. Smith is doing well with his classes.
