This collection consists of three notebooks containing lecture notes taken by Alfred R. Armstrong in Roscoe C. Young's advanced physics classes, 1932-1933, at the College of William and Mary.

This collection also includes several report cards for Alfred R. Armstrong, 1928-1931, accompanied by his comments regarding the grading process and his professors, transferred from the Faculty-Alumni File Collection.

Notes, 1872-1889, of an unidentified attorney which includes written forms used for criminal indictments and notes of criminal procedure and jurisdiction.

Babb, probably in Hardy County, WV.  Also contains exercises in punctuation, valedictory address of Jennie Cross at Morgantown Female Seminiary and a dialogue read by Julia F. Ackon and Annie C. Ballon June 27, 1856 at the annual examination of the Wesleyan Female Institute in Staunton, Virginia.

Pike's Arithmetic, 1856-1858, [either Nicholas Pike's A New and Complete System of Arithmetic or Stephen Pike's The Teacher's Assistant] copied by William J. Babb, Hardy County, Va. [W. Va.]. The volume also includes verse.

Gardening notebook of Ursula Fairfax Harrison Baird, wife of Charles L. Baird.  Notes are mostly a record of the names (often specific varieties), amount ordered, prices and vendors of the flowers and seeds ordered.  A few letters from gardening supply outlets are inserted in the notebook, along with loose handwritten notes by Ursula Baird.

Notebook, 1739, kept by B. Blagden, A. B., St. John's College, Cambridge, [University, Cambridge, Eng.] concerning hydrostatics, mechanics, optics, and astronomy.

Book bears the note that it was brought to Virginia by William Byrd to be used at the College of William and Mary. The note is in a modern hand and there is no documentation of this information.

This collections consists of Erma M. Brown's composition book  for psychology while a student at the College of William and Mary.  It contains class notes and/or textbook outlines.

This collection is composed of College of William and Mary Professor of Mathematics Eleanor Calkins' 32 gradebooks from 1927-1961, a notebook with A-Z listings of her favorite musical recordings (the exceptional ones noted in red), and three yearbooks, 1915-1917, entitled Mossoks, from Columbia College in Lake City, Florida.

Correspondence, personal accounts, 7 ledgers, and legal papers, 1869-1912, of Robert S. Campbell, sheriff of Fluvanna County, Va. Includes materials on raising cattle, travel, the duties of a sheriff, and material relative to Fluvanna County. One of the ledgers is 502 pages in length and contains numerous correspondence loosely tucked inside the volume.

Notebook, circa 1900-1914, compiled by Wilson Miles Cary, concerning the Cary Family history  from the 16th century onward. Also covers related branches including the families of Fairfax, Harrison, Randolph, Langhorne, Jefferson and others. Bound Volume. Approximately 379 pages.

This collection contains class notes, syllabi, exams, and other material pertaining to Charles L. Kendrick while attending William & Mary for his undergraduate and graduate degrees. Most of the material is from Kendrick's undergraduate courses, but there is also material related to his graduate work in the School of Education. The collection also includes a packet containing information about water safety, lifeguard training and the history of the Theta Delta Chi fraternity.

Arithmetic book, 1798-1805, of Charles Wingfield Hamner [Campbell County, Va.].  Contains loose fragments which say "John Hamner and ? married 7th, 1811, Harriett Mills Hamner...Mary Ann Hamner...Lucy Jane Hamner, Elizabeth Joyner Hamner..."  Loose receipts from 1824, 1825 and 1841.
