Records of Hickory Neck Episcopal Church located in Toano, Virginia. Most of the material in this collection is from the Hickory Neck Church with a permanent loan or deposit agreement. Other material is from members of Hickory Neck Church or Williamsburg, Virginia area residents.

Copies of death records from the Jerusalem Baptist Church, an African American church near Five Forks in James City County, Virginia. One folder of records dates from 1908-1940s. Original in the hands of the three remaining members of the Church including Mary Howard as of 1986.

Memorandum book, 1835-1858, of Rev. John C. Hensell, Middlebrook, Augusta County, Virginiaa. which contains a list of baptisms, marriages, and texts of sermons preached at St. John's and St. Peter's churches, as well as a list of subscribers to The Weekly Messenger.

Constitution and proceedings, 1830-1835, of the Lexington Sunday School Union, Lexington, Va.

Memorandum book, 1829-1880, of Littleton Clayvell which contains a brief record of the meetings of the Maryland Annual Conferences of the Methodist Protestant Church and a record, 1847-1880, of marriages, births, and deaths. The volume also contains medicinal remedies, a list of stockholders in the Roanoke Bridge Company, and accounts of weather and farming.

Parish register, 1840-1902, of Littleton Parish, Cumberland County, Va. which includes baptisms, marriages, and confirmations, some years divided into "colored" and "white."

Minute book, 1874-1897, of the Methodist Church Conferences, Augusta and Rockingham counties, Virginiaa. which includes loose papers.

Two record books from Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, a historical African American church located in Evington, Virginia. One book is titled "Records" on the cover, the other reads "Ledger." These two books contain meeting minutes, business expenses, and sermon attendees.

The Oak Grove Baptist Church collection contains record books documenting membership lists, daily church events and financial records. The collection also includes meeting minutes and photographs of church members.

The personal papers of Julia W. Oxrieder include materials related to Williamsburg, Virginia, documents of interest she collected related to her many interests, and personal material about her life and work in Williamsburg. Many items are copies of biographies, newspaper articles, and ephemera documenting local history including folklore, education, Williamsburg people and organizations, African Americans, and other topics.

Roll book, possibly 1820-1860 of a Quaker meeting, Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.

Papers, 1845-1871, of Benjamin Shunk of Carroll County, Maryland. Contains two ledgers which contain the names of the parties involved, status, and disposition of civil court cases in Carroll County, Maryland. All entries are signed by Benjamin Shunk. There are also loose papers that were originally tucked inside of the first ledger. The second half of the second ledger was used as a recordbook for the Evangelical Lutheran Congregation of Taneytown, Marlyand, of which Shunk was secretary.
