Ticket to the coronation of King William IV at Westminster Abbey at the Poets Corner Door, No. 107, "The Coronation of Their Most Sacred Majesties." Ticket holder's name is difficult to read, but possibly L. Thoecker, Esq. or L. Koelker, Esq. Torn and fragile.

Topics include reviews of his book, "History of the Religious Society of Friends, from its rise to the yar 1828," articles on other publications on the Society of Friends and obituaries for Samuel M. Janney. Includes a letter from S.M. Janney to T. E. Zell, dated 1865, about the publication of volume 4 of his book.
Collection, 1858
Program for a "Cadets' Anniversary Ball...to be given by the Corps of Cadets of the Virginia Military Institute, on the Evening of the 5th of July, 1858. Lists the President, L. Wilber Reid, and 36 names of the managers. Handwritten note at the bottom, "Compliments of Cadets J. R. Be[g]an, R. T. Washington." Includes two admission tickets, one for supper and one to the Ball Room, plus a card entitled "Engagements" with line 2 (of 20 lines) "with dear Ludie-Bob." Possibly a dance card.
