Scope and Contents

Program for a "Cadets' Anniversary be given by the Corps of Cadets of the Virginia Military Institute, on the Evening of the 5th of July, 1858.  Lists the President, L. Wilber Reid, and 36 names of the managers. Handwritten note at the bottom, "Compliments of Cadets J. R. Be[g]an, R. T. Washington." Includes two admission tickets, one for supper and one to the Ball Room, plus a card entitled "Engagements" with line 2 (of 20 lines) "with dear Ludie-Bob." Possibly a dance card.
