Content Description Folder one holds a program for the Fisk Jubilee Singers at McIntire Amphitheatre, a program for the Wofford College Glee Club 1926-27 season, and thirty-one 2 x 3 1/4 inch photos that were removed from an album. Richard A. Velz Photographs and Flat Hat Event Menu

The collection includes a dinner menu from a Flat Hat banquet on May 30, 1933. (Issue Vol. XXII, No. 28. It also includes several photographs of groups of men. Velz was a member of Phi Kappa Tau, Alpha Kappa Psi, and Pi Delta Epislon. There is also a photograph from a W&M event, probably Commencement.

The collection includes publications, grant proposls, an audit report, minutes of the governing committee, and other material documenting the Virginia Associated Research Campus (VARC) of the College of William and Mary. The largest group of records (Accession 1991.099) includes material related to grants and contracts, buildings, personnel, ledgers, correspondence, manuals, insurance, audit, and other operations of VARC. It is 20.4 cubic feet in size and is currently unprocessed.

The Virginia Nittoli Matish photographs contains photographs of Virginia Nittoli Matish and members of the Pi Beta Phi sorority. Images include the Pi Phi house, as well as scenes of Virginia Beach and a William & Mary graduation taken place during the late 1960s and early 1970s. A description of names and locations have been provided by Matish and is included in the collection.

Walter S. Eanes Freshman English Manual

Printed "Freshman English Manual of Instructions and Exercises for 1924-1925," owned by William & Mary student Walter S. Eanes. The manual is an example of what was being used for Freshman English classes and the curriculum at William & Mary and includes notes and exercises written by Eanes.

Correspondence, notes, papers, newspaper clippings, drafts and published articles belonging to Courtney Sharpe Ward, a writer for the Richmond News Leader in Richmond, Virginia. Many of her articles had a historical connection. The addition mostly consists of material on the 1957 350th Anniversary of Jamestown. William James Young Letters

Two letters sent to William James Young in September 1911 concerning employment at William & Mary. The first letter is from Registrar, H. L. Bridges, and dated September 5, 1911. It acknowledges receiving Young's acceptance of his position of Physical Director, Physician, and Coach. The second letter is from President Lyon G. Tyler and dated September 7, 1911. It discusses the condition of employment and includes Young's salary.

William & Mary Symphony Orchestra records

Scrapbook featuring 65 photographs of the William and Mary Symphony Orchestra in practice, at rehearsals, and socializing as a group. One of their performances was billed as a symphony of horror and features pictures of the students dressed in Halloween attire. Director at the time was E. W. Williams, Jr. Most of the photographs are undated and none are labeled. Some of the photographs indicate that they are from 1998. The photographs are both in color and black/white.

William & Mary Victory Ship Collection
