Scope and Contents

This collection includes several publications, including the football handbook, yearbook, and media guides, as well as game programs. It also includes general files.

Audiovisual material can be found in the University Archives Audiovisual Collection. In time, they will be intellectually reunited with this collection.

The collection contains three photographs: the 1902 William & Mary football team (with players identified), Wade MacDonald and W.N. Shackleford in football uniforms (1902), and MacDonald's senior portrait (1905).

Scope and Contents The scrapbook was created by Mary Ella Garrett between 1935-1936. Subjects include: William & Mary athletics (specifically football), Alpha Chi Omega, Colonial Williamsburg, and student life.  Included in the scrapbook are newspaper clippings, football programs, Colonial Williamsburg brochures, ephemera, and photographs of Colonial Williamsburg, the William and Mary campus, the Alpha Chi Omega house and members, as well as female students. The collection includes Rawles' 1922-1923 student handbook within which are handwritten notes and her class schedule, a panoramic photograph of the student body for 1922-1923, and her 1923 Colonial Echo, which she used as a scrapbook.  The scrapbook includes images of women students at W&M.  There is also an unidentified artifact which features the names of players and games of the 1922-1923 varsity football team.

Scope and Contents The collection includes two scrapbooks of photographs, postcards, and programs collected by Arthur and H. Leah James while students at the College of William and Mary. Material concerns student life, athletics, social life, the D.W. Scrapbook, 1930-1943, of Ann Louis Clarke of Richmond, Virginia. Clarke was a 1940 graduate of the College of William and Mary, and much of the scrapbook covers her time there. Includes programs from William & Mary events, cards, telegrams, Red Cross certificates, tickets to football games and plays, several notes on Phi Mu letterhead, a menu from the Red Circle Walnut Room, and dried flower corsages, among other items.

This collection consists of papers and photographs kept by Ronald D. Anzalone (Class of 1971) from his time as a student at William & Mary.
