The collection includes a number of accessions and groups of records directly from the Office of Facilities Management including publications, administrative records, blueprints, and other documents as well as blueprints and other architectural drawings that come under the administrative responsibility of the office, but may have been transferred from miscellaneous sources.
This collections contains original drawings, maps, and other material by technical illustrator Louis W. Luedtke. The bulk of the collection contains drawings related to Colonial Williamsburg buildings, interiors, holiday decorations.
Included with this collection is biographical information relating to Loius Luedtke including his childhood, articles relating to his work, and photographs of him and his family.
Illustration by Robert Armstrong of the poem, "Song for Virginia," which he wrote at the Williamsburg Inn in 1968 about the landing at Jamestown, Virginia.
Collection of 20 postcards of buildings, people, and businesses in the Williamsburg area. Buildings include the Colonial Hotel, George Washington's Headquarters, Court House, and Duke of Gloucester Street. Postcards of people depict them in a working environment. One postcard is addressed to Captain Irvin from Edward Walford. Other postcards show scenes from Camp Wallace and the James River.
