Scope and Contents

This collection contains fliers, newsletters, clippings, and other publications from the Center for Student Diversity at The College of William and Mary. The office was formerly known as the Office of Multicultural Affairs and the Office of Minority Affairs. Included in the collection are reports created by the various offices, announcements for upcoming events, and newsletters, including "Onyx" and "Ethnic Voices."

The collection is open to all researchers. Historical Note:

"The Center for Student Diversity (formerly the Office of Multicultural Affairs) is a unit within the Division of Student Affairs. In alliance with the William & Mary mission, the Center for Student Diversity (CSD) strives to foster inclusion, collaboration, and relationship-building within our campus community. The Center provides academic, social, and transition support for underserved and underrepresented students and promotes exchange and dialogue between individuals of diverse backgrounds and identities. We also serve as an information center, providing training and resources to the campus and local Williamsburg community regarding multicultural and diversity topics." The Center was established in 2009.
