Minute book 1905-1906, of the Monument Commission of the Fifth New York Volunteer Infantry, "Duryea"s Zouaves," organized to erect a monument on the Battlefield of Bull Run (Manassas) under the authorization of the New York State Legislature. The volume includes black and white photographs of the site, the monument, the gate, and the officers of the commission.

This collection contains correspondence, reports, committee files, and other material from the Office of Finance at the College of William and Mary. Included in the records are budget reports, correspondence with the Virginia Attorney General and the Governor of Virginia, legislation from the Virginia General Assembly, as well as material from campus committee meetings. This collection is formed of materials created by the First Baptist Church of Williamsburg, dating from the mid-1800s to the present day. Inculded in this collection are church records such as member rolls, meeting minutes, photographs, bibles, building blueprints, and audio visual materials.

Letters, 1827-1855, written to John "Jack" Fitzgerald of "Walnut Hill," Nottoway County, Va. Letters written by Thomas Branch and Bros. of Petersburg, Va, his brother, William Fitzgerald (House of Delegates, Richmond, Va.) and Winfree Williamson of Richmond, Va.

Topics and genre include bills, family news, legal matters, invoices and account statements of items sold, prices and commission information and correspondence concerning the selling of slaves.

Mary Anne Fletcher is a former pupil of the Bena Hayes Rosenwald school in Bena, VA. Mary Anne Fletcher describes her experiences attending a former Rosenwald school, a typical day in the classroom and her family background. Mary Anne Fletcher discusses her experiences as a Rosenwald student and her hopes for the restored Woodville school.

Dated 1805-1881. Business and  personal letters and papers of Floyd L. Whitehead, Deputy Sheriff of Nelson County.  Included are day books and fee books of the county; Confederate tax forms for the listing of cattle and agriculture products on which ten percent, tax-in-kind was to be paid; and broadsides advertising lotteries for the District of Columbia, Monongalia Academy, the Dismal Swamp Company and of the State of Virginia.

Papers, 1831-1863, of John B. Floyd, governor of Virginia, United States Secretary of War and Confederate general. The papers, chiefly 1850-1862, concern the three positions he held. Correspondents include James Buchanan, Jefferson Davis, Samuel Houston, Benjamin Huger, Alexander von Humboldt, R. M. T. Hunter, Charles James Faulkner, Jenny Lind, James Murray Mason, William Ballard Preston, Winfield Scott, John Tyler, Daniel Webster and the Duke of Wellington.

Account book of Fluvanna Female Institute with names of patrons and payment receipts for board. Also includes an inventory and account book of a farm at "Bremo," Fluvanna County, Va. This farm was presumably owned by John Hartwell Cocke. Includes produce sold and expenses paid. Of note, are some entries that include tax in kind payments of oats to either the United States Union or Confederacy. There is a loose page of inventory of implements at "Lower Bremo," New Kent County, Va.

Contract, 14 October 1867, between William J. Foltz and the trustees of the district to teach in the public school of Lost River Township, Hardy County, W. Va.

This collection includes several publications, including the football handbook, yearbook, and media guides, as well as game programs. It also includes general files.

Audiovisual material can be found in the University Archives Audiovisual Collection. In time, they will be intellectually reunited with this collection.

Papers, 1851-1856, of Forrer & Blakemore, iron founders and merchants, at Shenandoah Iron Works, Page County, Va. and at Waverlie and Cassville, Rockingham County, Va. Includes correspondence and accounts.

This collection consists of two large scrapbooks. One is an official scrapbook from the 1939 New York World's Fair, featuring the Trylon and Perisphere on the cover. It contains theater programs, photographs,notes, art programs, and clippings from newspapers and magazines. The other book has a treasure chest on the cover and contains newspaper clippings about radio and transcripts of radio broadcasts.

Collection includes the constitution and bylaws and minutes of meeting, dated 7 May 1932, signed by G. K. Vanderslice and G. E. Meanley, of the Fort Magruder Fishing Club, Williamsburg, Virginia.

A diary spanning three months of entries from Frances Allen, a Virginian girl who wrote about her experiences with family, school, church, and national events such as the anniversary of Armistice Day.

Possibly kept by or for Lassiter who was a candidate for the Democratic nomination for attorney-general of Virginia. Concerns delegates to the Virginia Democratic Party Convention of 1897.

Ledger B account book of an unknown merchant in Frederick County, Virginia or possibly the current Jefferson or Berkeley Counties, West Virginia.  526 pages.

Letter written to Vincent of Norfolk, Va. from Jonathan [Mierly?] of Richmond, Va., updating him on legal matters involving John Rogers and "McCowan and wife" of Philadelphia, Pa.
