Scope and Contents The collection contains bound volumes and sheet music of the 19th century and early to mid 20th century. Appomattox Manor, near Hopewell, Virginia, has belonged to the Eppes family since 1635, when Captain Francis Eppes was granted a patent to the land. Scope and Contents Correspondence and other papers, mostly 1810-1860, of the Barraud family of Norfolk, Virginia. Correspondence of Dr. Philip Barraud (1758-1830), his wife, Ann Blaws (Hansford) Barraud (1760-1836), and their children, included Daniel Cary Barraud (1790-1867), Otway Byrd Barraud (b. 1801), and Leliana (Barraud) Baker (b. 1805). Frances Breeze Music Collection

Scope and Contents Book and individual sheet music of musical scores, probably collected by Frances Breeze.  Scrapbooks created by Josephone Carey Stanton and possibly others. Roland Halstead's collection of ephemera from trips abroad and musical production programs and guides.  Undetermined parts of the collection were given by Dianne Webb (via Frances Breeze) in memory of Manny and Harold Chapman.  Includes a handwritten score by Harold Chapman.

Eleanor Calkins Papers

Scope and Contents This collection is composed of College of William and Mary Professor of Mathematics Eleanor Calkins' 32 gradebooks from 1927-1961, a notebook with A-Z listings of her favorite musical recordings (the exceptional ones noted in red), and three yearbooks, 1915-1917, entitled Mossoks, from Columbia College in Lake City, Florida.

Carl "Pappy" Fehr Letters to Frederick Tubbs and LP Recordings

Content Description 37 letters and one postcard from Carl "Pappy" Fehr to Frederick Tubbs who received voice lessons from Fehr in the early 1950's. The two became friends and exchanged letters for years afterward. The letters in this collection span from 1953-1988. In addition to the letters are LP recordings of the William and Mary Choir, The Common Glory from 1953, 1955-1957, 1959-1962, 1966, and a four LP set from 1948-1949.
