This collection consists of a green felt duc cap encircled with a gold felt band and a gray felt-covered metal button on the top of the cap. The front of the cap has gray letters "W" and "M" accented with gold stitching, and the back of the cap was hand-embroidered in gold thread by Claiborne Reid Winborne (Class of 1971) with the name "Claiborne" in capital letters. Winborne wore this cap as a Freshman during Orientation Week in Fall 1967.
