Is chosen colonel out of his brigade. Heard insurgents were repulsed in attempt to take arsenal at Fredericksburg. Asks Tucker to pay Doctor Philip Barraud for him. Will balance what self paid Carey for Museum and other papers. Endorsed: "Nov., paid Barraud Two Dollars"
