October 22-November 20 – Reports for temporary duty at Fort Hamilton. November 21-December 10 – Works at New York Post of Embarkation in Brooklyn, New York (NYPE). December 11 – Reports for duty as Transport Chaplain on the S.S. Monterey, but works as a Transport Chaplain and for NYPE.
