Comments on political situation; consipracy between Bristow, Wilson, Webster and probably Jewell to injure President Grant; more of Conover's "villainy" concerning his connections with the Democratic Party; says that Conover's very life is in danger if the Republicans don't lose Florida - believes the Democrats will assassinate him. 7 pp. ALS.
