Major General Stirling Price, Des Arc, AR to Gen. E. Kirby Smith, Shreveport, LA. Letter concerning Union and Confederate troop movements throughout the Mississippi River Valley. Price has information to suggest that 60,000 Union soldiers have been moved into Missouri so as to make a move into northern Arkansas.
