Said so much in his last letter that he doesn't have much to say now; goes to propose to Miss Van Ness this evening; he wishes it was over because he can't concentrate on anything; he is even more nervous because he was rejected once before [by Miss Lewis]; Rutson says she went to London; asked if she liked it; Liverpool always seemed dull to him after being in London; is sending the letter by his friend Mr. Lyons; must close the letter because he must leave to see Harriet Van Ness. 2pp. ALS
