Since his letter of 12 June, he has had confirmation of Mr. Maxwell's friendship to them both; is concerned because Mr. Maxwell feels that William expresses himself too freely; warns him against doing this; stil not many invoices; there have been many American ships ibn Liverpool, but not many with a lot of cargo; will keep in mind what he says about New Orleans. 2pp. ALS
