Scope and Contents
One pewter-colored medallion that given to Mary Mackey Sainsbury by the Society of the Alumni at the College of William and Mary. The medal is approximately 1.5in. in diameter on a yellow and green ribbon. It bears the College coat-of-arms and the inscription "1693, The Olde Guarde, 1975, Their Majesties' Royall Colledge in Virginia." Olde Guarde medallions are awarded to alumni who are past their fiftieth reunion. The medal is in good condition. Gift of Mary Sainsbury. Located in Dec Obj S2, SS1. UA 2008.005.3
