Scope and Contents

A round engraving of Louis Hue Girardin (William and Mary faculty member circa 1803). It is set into a metal frame and enclosed in a red jewelry box. The engraving was done by St. Memin. Ms. J. Chapman Slaughter painted a pastel after the original by St. Memin. 2.25 in. in diameter.  Gift of Mrs. Leo Conrad of Richmond, Virginia (Girardin's great-granddaughter). Located in Art S4. UA 1983.129
