Tools, equipment, and supplies originally created to manage, oversee, capture, harvest, or collect resources or to transform or modify particular materials, either raw or processed. These artifacts are normally created in response to problems inherent in the materials themselves; for example, wood requires certain kinds of cutting devices, fish require certain lures, and food requires certain serving materials.
