Scope and Contents

Mr. Edward Southwell, Liege, to [William] Blathwayt Had a good voyage. The boat from Huy had met a French party. Liege had been attacked twice in one afternoon. The party of thirsty Frenchmen disappeared into the woods. Hopes to be in Utrecht by the first of August and then will go to Amsterdam. 2 pp. ALS.
