Brooks requesting that the rent be paid in “advance” to the owners, the Holding Company, as is their policy; brochure from Educational Historic Tours, Toledo, Ohio; form letter from Virginia State Chamber of Commerce; carbon copy letter to the “Nik-o-Lok Company” noting “We beg to notify you that, on January 1, 1931, the Restoration owners are taking over the Colonial Hotel property….”; and form letter from Seeck & Kade, Inc. sending a calendar [not included] advertising Pertussin cough medicine.
