Scope and Contents
Inking the type with a pair of printing balls begins the series of operations necessary to print on page of the Virginia Gazette in the Printing Office at Colonial Williamsburg. Visitors to the historic city can watch costumed historic trades interpreters demonstrate the crafts of printing, book binding and papermaking in the printing office complex.
