Scope and Contents
A color photomechanical reproduction print of the lithograph "William and Mary College" on modern paper, based on drawings by Thomas Millington. Although no date is provided on the print, a conservation survey estimates it was created sometime in the twentieth century.
The print depicts William & Mary's Historic Campus, including the Brafferton, Wren Building, and President's House. In the foreground of the print, men in formal attire socialize in the Wren Courtyard, alongside the original statue of Lord Botetourt. The lithographic image is often referred to as simply the "Millington Print."
Towards the bottom margin, the image's title is printed.
This specific print was transferred from the University Archives Photograph Collection (UA 8) to the Thomas Millington Collection (MS 00306) on July 26, 2019.
