JWT fulfills a promise to send a composition or two - one about whether a republican government can exist and the other whether the circumstances of the Romans justified them in their first dictator; JWT looks for money requested every day. Also includes a letter, undated, by W. Tomlin to John W. Tomlin, William & Mary College, Williamsburg, Virginia. received your composition which am well pleased with; irate discussion of JW's responsibility as a son to WT including JWT's extravagance with money, JWT 's education, etc.
