Includes letters to his uncle and other miscellaneous unidentified persons. One letter from Conway Whittle to (Ion?) concerning family news; one letter discusses the bank bill before Congress (1832). Asking uncle to use influence to have him appointed insurance agent in Virginia for Phoenix Fire Insurance Company of London and discusses Mutual Assurance County of Virginia.
