Armistead Journal and Broadside
Broadside, "A Card from the Engineer of The E.L. Asylum" by Galba Vaiden, late engineer of the Eastern Lunatic Asylum, about favoritism in firing and hiring employees. Possibly 1890.
Small notebook, belonging to an Armistead Family member, which includes names of a circa 1910 football team following family account information from 1901. Handwriting is different.

The collection includes a number of accessions and groups of records directly from the Office of Facilities Management including publications, administrative records, blueprints, and other documents as well as blueprints and other architectural drawings that come under the administrative responsibility of the office, but may have been transferred from miscellaneous sources.
Floyd J. Whitehead Papers
Dated 1805-1881. Business and personal letters and papers of Floyd L. Whitehead, Deputy Sheriff of Nelson County. Included are day books and fee books of the county; Confederate tax forms for the listing of cattle and agriculture products on which ten percent, tax-in-kind was to be paid; and broadsides advertising lotteries for the District of Columbia, Monongalia Academy, the Dismal Swamp Company and of the State of Virginia.
