A 396 page line diary, 78 film negatives, and 55 glass slides created by Garrett Hondelink during a missionary trip to Kagoshima, Japan. The diary entries include descriptions of daily life, travel throughout Japan, and interactions with other missionaries as well as with Japanese officials.
The negatives and glass slides feature images from Hondelink's travels, showing local people, buildings, and landmarks.
