Scope and Contents Letters, 1926, written to the Dixie Hound Kennels of Herrick, Illinois. Both letters are inquiries about purchasing coondogs from the Dixie Hound Kennels, one sent from Pennsylvania and the other sent from Arkansas. Dixie Hound Kennels sent at least one dog out on a 10 day trial.

Content Description Scrapbook consisting of newspaper article, picture, and comic collages cut and pasted into a 1920 Sunflower State Normal School, Emporia, Kansas book. Most of the newspaper clippings appear to be from the 1930's. There are various articles and pictures of dogs of all breeds.

Scope and Contents 79 original ink sketches of dogs by Carol B. Hannum. The works range in size and were illustrate different breeds and poses of the canine species. Most drawings contain a date caption, breed of dog, if known, and the name of the dog. Some are dogs owned by friends of the artist while others are labelled, "neighborhood dog" or "rescue."
