Five dis-bound sections of a ledger kept by Ellyson Currie (1780-1829), a lawyer in Lancaster County, Virginia, 1820- 1824.  Records are for fees, deed recordings, and payments received for various accounts.  Currie was a large land owner, attorney,  and judge who served in the Virginia House of Delegates.

Two page letter from Green Springs plantation in Williamsburg, Va. regarding a land transaction between Lee and Colonel Fairfax. Lee regrets the delay but notes that once he is home and in front of the mentioned papers that he will settle their transaction at that time. A transcription is included with the letter.

Negative photostats of longhand transcripts of the 1704 Virginia quitrent lists for twenty counties. The lists give the names of landowners and acres held, with occasional comments on absentee landholders. Originals located at the Public Records Office, London, England.
