Drawings of Thomas Bewick
Pencil drawing of Thomas Bewick, "Drawn on the block by Wm. Nicholson, Chas Nesbit sc." Signed by Bewick and circa 1820. Also, three original portraits of Thomas Bewick, two are wash drawings from life on one sheet by Charlton Nesbit and T.A. Kidd. A separate sheet shows an additional Kidd drawing done from a painting by Miss Kirkly. The Newsbit drawing is signed by Bewick, also circa 1820.

Thomas Elston Thorne Papers
This collection contains six composition books of sketches created by Thomas Elston Thorne, a faculty member in the Fine Arts Department at the College of William and Mary. Most of the sketches are of human models but there are drawings of still life as well. One of the sketchbooks also contains notes about composition taken by Thorne.
