This collection contains retreat schedules for the College- Wide Reading Program at the College of William and Mary.

Letters, 1902-1925, received by Etta Josselyn Giffin, director of the National Library for the Blind from members of Congress and other government officials.

Four page letter from Joanna Ross written on leaterhead from the Virginia Institution for the education of the deaf, dumb, and the blind, Staunton, Virginia. She describes reading to a blind girl and of learning sign language. She also comments on the mild weather in Staunton, her sister's health, people she has met, and books she has recently enjoyed reading.

The collection showcases the creative and revisionary process for a published children’s author, including editing interactions and the development of characters. The five book projects include manuscript editing (mostly done by hand in red or black pen) and some story art. There are also materials related to Angleberger's publishing queries and ink testing.
