Daybook, circa 1890s, of the Cleveland and Badminton Foxhounds of the United Kingdom. Includes descriptions of various hunts on which the dogs go, names and pedigrees of some of the dogs, accounts of money exchanged during hunts, and poems written about dogs.
Collection of Spanish Language Manuscripts
Includes printed and manuscript material written in Spanish and originating from Spain and Spanish-speaking countries in North America and South America. Dixie Hound Kennels Letters
Letters, 1926, written to the Dixie Hound Kennels of Herrick, Illinois. Both letters are inquiries about purchasing coondogs from the Dixie Hound Kennels, one sent from Pennsylvania and the other sent from Arkansas. Dixie Hound Kennels sent at least one dog out on a 10 day trial.
Dog Scrapbook
Scrapbook consisting of newspaper article, picture, and comic collages cut and pasted into a 1920 Sunflower State Normal School, Emporia, Kansas book. Most of the newspaper clippings appear to be from the 1930's. There are various articles and pictures of dogs of all breeds.
Carol B. Hannum Drawings of Dogs
79 original ink sketches of dogs by Carol B. Hannum. The works range in size and were illustrate different breeds and poses of the canine species. Most drawings contain a date caption, breed of dog, if known, and the name of the dog. Some are dogs owned by friends of the artist while others are labelled, "neighborhood dog" or "rescue."
Judith Magrino Bowers Scrapbook
Red bound scrapbook created by Judith Bowers when she was a girl about World War II. Her father, Daniel Magrino was a soldier in the army during this war. Her scrapbook details the effect of the war on the Homefront, especially in regard to rations of gas and food.
Ledger (Pennsylvania)
This ledger book was used to record dog racing competitions in Pennsylvania. Its dates span from 1895 to 1903. It has names, ages, colors, breeds and other information about the different dogs, as well as the names of owners.

Jean Prendergast Pug Dog Artifacts
All material in the Jean Prendergast collection relates to the pug dog breed. Items include figurines, soft sculptures, chocolate molds, and a Meerschaum cigarette holder. Images of some of the artifacts are available via flickr.

Stud Book of Hounds
Bound volume containing the records of a dog-breeding kennel from 1838 to 1855. Each entry lists a breeding pair of hunting dogs in a particular season or year, along with their offspring and the names of clients to whom they were distributed. Clients are listed along with their town of residence, which center around an area of England north of London, possibly Essex or Hertfordshire.
