Series of letters, bound into a black volume with gold embossing around its edge. The letters span from 1828- 1857 but the bulk of the letters are from 1830- 1833. Brown writes to an assortment of recipients and from varied places such as Petersburg, Virginia, Richmond, Virginia, and Baltimore, Maryland.
