The collection includes photographs, negatives, slides, film, postcards, ephemera, correspondence and artifacts belonging to Thomas L. Williams, photographer for William & Mary for 35 years. He was also a photographer for Camp Peary and Colonial Williamsburg prior to working for William & Mary.

Plat of "Marmion", King George County,Virginia, property of Dangerfield Lewis.  Drawn by Gilbert Harrow, surveyor, September 1797. Other parcels noted are:  Fowkes's Land, Chatterton, Bomberry's and Eagle's Nest. Much of this area is part of the original patent of Ashtons.

Scope and Contents From the Collection: Pamphlet, circa 1880, entitled "History of the Case of the Commonwealth vs. Lee and Burwell Reynolds." Lee Reynolds and Burwell Reynolds were two African American teenagers who were convicted of the murder of Aaron Shelton, who was white, in Patrick County, Virginia. During their appeal, the case was moved to to federal court by Judge Alexander Rives of the Federal District of Western Virginia. This pamphlet was written by A.M. Letters from Stanley R. King Jr. to his parents Mr. and Mrs. Stanley King as well as to his sister Kathy Ann King. Vietnam War era. Stanley King Jr. stationed in Germany. Also contains various forms and small items sent from Stanley King Jr., as well as a letter from Mr. and Mrs. Stanley King's nephew Chuck S. Hancock and a letter from Cpt. Laurence A. Silverman regarding Stanley King Jr.'s impending court-martial trial.
