This series contains press releases, memoranda, clippings, and other printed ephemera related to Carlson’s military career. Included in the series is a commemorative photo book of Helen Keller’s trip to Japan in 1948, along with a signature of Hellen Keller, as well as a banner from the film Francis Joins the WAC, on which Carlson served as technical director.

Scope and Contents Contains telegrams between Carlson, her Parents and other correspondents, generally regarding purchases, holiday greetings, and urgent news, as well as a travel diary from Japan and Carlson’s master’s thesis from Stanford University.
