Includes a barber bill for 1899 with names of the men, their pay number and rating; 1898 list from the Treasury Department of the "Values of Foreign Coins"; handmade card signed by members of the crew entitled "You May Fire When You are Ready, Gridley, May 1, 1898 to May 1st, 1901", and a 1898 March 26 letter relieving Galt of duty on the USS Raleigh.
