One DVD of video featuring David Brown, class of 1978, speaking at the 2002 Opening Convocation on August 30, 2002, as well as his memorial service on February 12, 2003. David Brown was one of the members of Space Shuttle Columbia that exploded while it was re-entering the atmosphere, killing everyone on board. The DVD was made using digitized copies of Betacam and VHS videos that are already part of series 5 in this collection. Acc. 2011.148

One DVD of the Yule Log Ceremony at William and Mary. The event took place on the steps of the Sunken Garden. Shown in the video are students reading the history of Christmas, Hanukah , and Kwanzaa as well as President Timothy J. Sullivan dressed as Santa Claus reading “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” to the students. The video ends with students tossing sprigs of holly into a bonfire.
