Daniel O’Connell wants to put James [unknown] on the voting papers for St. George’s Ward. “I think you will not disavow us…but how useful an anti-slavery man may be in the council – with your help I think I could get our corporation to set an example to all the corporations in Great Britain on the subject.” October 20, 1841.
