Accepts rectorship of Christ Church, to begin November 15, 1846; objects to the annual election of the rector and hopes they will amend their constitution in that particular, but will serve in any case. (On same leaf as draft of letter resigning from Grace Church.) . Draft. Requests permission to resign from the parish; is called to serve in Mobile. (On same leaf as draft of letter accepting rectorship of Christ Church.)
