"The Cheryb" in Richmond may have their leg amputated. General Long, Fitzhugh Lee, Col. Chambliss, Major Gresiand, and Mr. Smith are there. Brown writes of family news and boarding house arrangements. She sends congratulations on General Magruder's victory at Sabine Pass.
