Contains a diary of an unknown soldier while stationed in Saipan during World War II. The diary begins in 1945 Februray and continues until 1946 February. The diary includes descriptions of soldier life, patrols, planes shot down among others. There are drawings of Iwo Jima as well as a list of names, which may be either planes or boats around the island. Also included is a copy of The Saipan Daily Target from 1946 January featuring news from the United States and comics about the war.

Scope and Contents From the Collection:

The collection consists of 25 poems written by William A. Watson, who graduated from the College of William and Mary in 1951.  The poems are reminiscenes of Watson's time as a student at William and Mary and cover such topics as Homecoming, Colonial Williamsburg, and the Wren Building.

Scope and Contents From the Collection:

This collection consists of a handwritten oration containing ruminations on the Declaration of Independence and the need for education to prevent the fragmentation of the union. The speech also memorializes Henry Clay, Senator from Kentucky, who had died recently. The booklet is unsigned.

The collection contains letters written by Jean Champion to her parents while visiting Havana, Cuba with her friends in 1939. In the letters, Jean describes her contact with diplomatic officials in Cuba, impressions of presidential candidate Fulgenico Batista, visiting clubs, and going to the beach.
