This series comprises more than 830 photographs documenting Mary's experience as an army nurse during the war. They show nurses and soldiers in army camps, on the road as they travel in Europe, training with weapons, and playing games. They also show cityscapes and landmark buildings, as well as wartime landscapes with bombed towns.
