Photograph album of travels to Costa Rica including images of nature, landscapes, Easter Parade, Thanksgiving festivities, and multiple snap shots of the group who made the sojourn. The beginning of the album shows the boat they travelled aboard along with images of Moro Castle in Havana, Cuba, a stop made enroute. There are also a few pages that feature Charles Lindbergh and the Spirit of St. Louis when he visited the country in Jan, 1928.

Identified in the photograph are Storekeeper Southall, Clerk Mercer, Superindendent Brower stands in center of door, Assistant Physician Clopton at his left, Steward Lee next, Director Wilmer, President of Directors Thompson sits before him, Director Mercer.

Battery "D" Light Artillery Blues of Lynchburg was a Virginia militia unit. This battery was one of 5 that made up the First Battalion Artillery under the command of Major William E. Simons.
Identified in the photograph are Captain R. D. [Robert] Yancey, First Lieutenant S. H. [Samuel] Dillon, Junior Second Lieutenant T. E. [Thomas] Craddock, and Surgeon Carter Wade. Each man is in uniform. Dr. Wade is wearing a cap. The other three men have light artillery helmets.

The letter from Bradney Griffin, South Mills, N.C., to an unknown recipient is entitled "Escape of 80 Confederate Officers. Their Pursuit by the Mounted Rifles. A Six Day's Scout. Capture of Horses, Mules. Griffin discusses the escape of the soldiers who were being marched to Fort Delaware and describes the recovery efforts over the ensuing days. Negative and positive photostats.

Transcript
A 52 page stenographic transcript of an interview given by Ernesto "Che" Guevara in front of television and radio of a program called "Cadena de la Liberad." The front of the transcript is stamped with an ink seal from the "Oficinas Primer Minestro- Dpto. de Divulgacion". Translated, this is the Office of the Prime Minister- Office of Disclosure. At the time of this interview, Guevara was the President of the National Bank of Cuba and was introduced as such.
