Scope and Contents From the Collection: About 75 letters from Francis X. Ferg to his family during World War I. Majority of the correspondence is to his mother, Mrs. Frank Ferg of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Francis X. Ferg enlisted with the Marine Corps and served in the Marine Band during the war.
