This collection contains material produced by the modern College of William and Mary Office of the Historic Campus as well as selected material produced before the office was organized about the buildings of the historic campus: the Sir Christopher Wren Building (the College Building), the Brafferton, and the President's House.
Collection is open to all researchers. Manuscript collections and archival records may contain materials with sensitive or confidential information that is protected under federal or state right to privacy laws and regulations, such as the Virginia Public Records Act (Code of Virginia. § 42.1-76-91); and the Virginia Freedom of Information Act (Code of Virginia § 2.2-3705.5). Confidential material may include, but is not limited to, educational, medical, and personnel records. If sensitive material is found in this collection, please contact a staff member immediately. The disclosure of personally identifiable information pertaining to a living individual may have legal consequences for which the College of William and Mary assumes no responsibility.

Before publishing quotations or excerpts from any materials, permission must be obtained from the Curator of Manuscripts and Rare Books, and the holder of the copyright, if not Swem Library.
Biographical / Historical
The Office of the Historic Campus at the College of William and Mary oversees the university's Historic Campus including the Wren Building, the President's House, and the Brafferton as well as the adjoining buildings of the Sunken Garden campus.
Acc. 1984.54 was received prior to 1984; Acc. 2007.002 was transferred to the University Archives in 2007; Acc. 2008.51 was received from Executive Director of the Historic Campus Louise Kale on 5/8/2008; Acc. 2008.104 was received from the Executive Director of the Historic Campus Louise Kale on 9/22/2008; Acc. 2009.118 was received on 3/25/2009.
